What is the French view on sex? How true is the reputation or stereotype of promiscuity?

What I meant by reputation is that they're very liberal when it comes to their views on sex. I'm not French - so please explain to me. Is it that they view sex to be less symbolic in terms of marriage? Do they view sex more-the-less an enjoyable activity equally for both men and women? Is there similarities between them and the Italian or Spanish in their view on sex?|||I came across two articles that may answer your question... As i am a disbeliever of stereotyping on national or ethnic grounds, i have two polar opposite articles on the french.....

They have a thing to replace or an alternative to marriage called a PAC. like a legal contract.


I dont know about Italians or Spanish. Note how these are supposedly Catholic countries. This throws open another question. Why have Catholic countries become this? A major contradiction there. I wonder what the Pope thinks?|||show me a pic

|||I had a French girlfriend long ago, and she was just less inhibitated than her American counterparts. She did not mind nudity and was just at ease with herself without adding any alchol.
