How soon after unprotected sex can you do a pregnancy test?

I am on the pill and im due for my 7 day break from Saturday (which means my period should be due sometime in that week) If i have had sex recently (whilst on antibiotics so pill doesnt protect) how soon can i do a pregnancy test?|||You can usually do a test 3 days before a missed period however there are some variables that may make it inaccurate that early. The first is that the test measures the amount of HcG in you urine and some woman have less then others so it may not be positive until later. It also depends on the test some are more sensitive then others and will detect it sooner. If you can afford it I would do one early and if it's negative I would test again the day you miss your period and then again 3-4 days after to be sure. If you can't afford multiple pregnancy tests than you will want to wait until after 3-4 days to be absolutely positive.|||Within 12 Hours...

|||i waited 4 days after i missed my period. i know it's hard to wait but just go about things in a normal way and try to forget about it for now until about 4 days after you were supposed to start. then take a test and you can almost trust the answer will be 100% accurate. and it's better to do it with a full bladder. And another way to make sure it's accurate is to wait a second or two after you start peeing and then pee on the test and stop peeing on it right before you completely stop peeing. i know it seems very technical but it's the best way i could describe it. lol. good luck.|||If you don't get your period by the end of next week when you're supposed to, take a test. If you were ovulating then %26amp; were on antibiotics then most likely the pill wasn't working for you.|||No matter what day you have sex or ovulate, the earliest HPT they have out that you can take is for 5 days before your missed period.
