What are the guidelines/rules for a sex offender after thier probation is over?

I am trying to write a paper for class over sex offenders and life after release and after probation is over. What are the guidelines/rules for a sex offender after thier probation is over? Where can I find information?|||each state varies, and since you didn't specify which state I can't answer any better.|||Sex offenders must register with the state, and (depending on their perceived level of risk), they have to keep the state informed of where they are living. If they are convicted of a crime involving children, they are sometimes court ordered to stay away from children or places where children gather (like schools, playgrounds, etc.). Other than that, I think their life after their sentence is served is much the same as someone convicted of a non-sexual offense.|||They have to register with their state, as a sex offender, and stay a certain number of feet away from places such as schools and playgrounds (if their victim was a child). Also, they are not allowed to ever be alone with a child, even their own.
