FACT- Illegalising prostitution would simply drive it underground and stigmatise these women even further.
FACT -Prostitues are targed by violent men because they're claims are not taken as seriously by the police.
How can we encourage moral, consenting and responsible sex trade within an industry that has been "taboo'd" by society? How can we protect these women and prevent trafficing?|||The women would need to be tested frequently, as would the men. It would need to be a real job with benefits (health insurance perhaps?) and have the wages taxed. Prostitution is the oldest job in the world, and it is safe and legal in many other countries (Amsterdam for example). In Russia many professional women (doctors, teacher, ect.) also work the streets to supliment their income --- they make more prostituting.|||The only way would be to crack down on the selling of woman and bust there pimps

|||Your asking for morality in a business which doesn't know right from wrong?Sex is supposed to be and intimate loving experience, not something you buy on the street. I could care less what happens immorally to the hoes because as far as I'm concerned they don't have any morality

|||Sex is a form of manipulating one another. Prostitutes always want something in return for sex whether a girlfriend or actual prostitute. Loving one another as yourself is more peaceful. The couples want to help one another instead of using one another.

|||One could say "more education" is the key to solving this dilemma; we must teach children at a young age that prostitution is bad. However, this is an unlikely solution as in most cases women undergo prostitution due to financial problems, and to truly eliminate the profession of prostitution, one must discover how to eliminate financial problems, a discovery that is quite unlikely. In other words, I am attempting to say that it is unlikely prostitution can be eliminated or even reduced dramatically; there's a reason they call it the oldest profession.|||The way Germany does it or we do it in Nevada. By legalizing it and legislating it to protect sex workers the same way we protect other workers.
I think even legalized prostitution is a rough life but it is far better when the law and the government makes sure it goes on in a safe environment and protects the workers from predators.|||Legalize and regulate prostitution.|||Legalizing and regulating has worked quite well in Canada and Netherlands I believe. America has never "learned" the lesson of Prohibition and thus seems to repeat the biggest mistake of the twentieth century over and over...ad infinitum!|||First of all, morality is subjective.
We have to define "moral," as well as "consenting and responsible" before we can even begin to answer your question.|||Regulating it doesn't help.
Illegal human trafficking also occurs even more in places like Amsterdam....where prostitution is legal and regulated.|||I think that people who lay awake in bed every night worrying about what other people are doing in their own bedrooms, are mentally ill and need some kind of help.|||The same way it's done in Nevada I guess. I really don't care, they need to be paying their taxes and getting 1099s from their employer, that's all I care about. And I don't ever think prostitution and morality can ever be used in the same sentence.|||don't patronize them,if there wasn't a market|||Make it a federal crime
