How long after sex till I get an accurate result on a home pregnancy test?

I had unprotected sex two weeks ago tonight (Sunday). I took plan B the next evening (Monday) and then started on a regular birth control pill the day after (Tuesday). I just want to make sure I'm not pregnant. I know you're generally supposed to wait till you miss your period, but I won't know if I'll miss it until two more weeks from now.





I don't HAVE to wait till I miss my period, do I? Can I take a test a few days from now and get an accurate result?|||people gennerally watit two weeks. i would wait a nother half a week to be shure.|||yea, usually i'd wait @ least 2 week just because the combo of the plan B %26amp; ur normal birth control bill will throw ur next period off %26amp; u will have sum irregular bleeding/spotting between periods while ur bod gets back into the normal "flow" of things lol. i had the same issue %26amp; askd my gyno abt it

|||you can take the test 5 days before your next period but that is the only way unless you go to the doctor and get a blood test.|||about 2-4 weeks. just a guess
