How quickly did you end up having sex with your long term partner?

I met this girl I really like and we ended up having sex the first time we met. We have discovered that we both have very similar upbringings and very similar points of view, humour etc and really like each other but I am a little worried that we've had sex too soon for either of us to take it seriously.





So, not including people who are not in serious long term relationships or marriages, how long was it before you had sex with your partner? Are you male/female? Are they male/female? Are you still in that relationship? How old are you? And how old are they?|||about 2 months before i met her|||Met my fella when i was 20 and he was 22. We slept together about 2 or 3 weeks after first meeting.





We are now 17 years down the line, and married with 2 kids. I'm 37 and hubby is 39.





Don't worry about the sex thing, if you are meant to be together it will happen - every couple is different, there is no set of rules to follow to determine a long and happy relationship - some will work out, others won't - and it has nothing to do with how early on you slept together.|||We had sex the first time we hung out. Having sex with someone the first time you meet them is a bit too fast.


I would be afraid that after that point, your relationship with each other will be nothing more than sex. Its hard to establish a solid relationship if you've already done the last part of a relationship.


Its usually, getting to know each other, then courting, dating, then sex.


Whats fun in being with someone if you've already done what most people date for and strive to get to know the other person for.|||Me and my partner had sex the first time we met also. We went to a restaruant, stayed for about 5 minutes, left and had sex in his car.


I'm a female, he's a man. We're together about 7-8 months and are currently in a complicated relationship. We definitely care about eachother but he's a senior (18) and I'm a junior (17), so he's just trying to graduate and sees me as a distraction. We don't talk much right now but last week, on friday, he came over to practice lacrosse and we ended up hooking up in my house.
