How to prevent Sex from hurting the first time?

I wanted to wait until I got engaged to have sex for the first time. Now, I am in my mid-twenties and we have not been able to have sex because it hurts so badly. Theres a bit where the penis is just in and it feels like its stretching, just inside the vagina. Once its through that and he starts moving slowly it really doesnt hurt. You just have to relax, its soooo hard to relax tho, but you cant tense your legs. Use lube aswell. Go really slow, but trust me once its in it doesnt hurt ! :) Then you will enjoy it.
