If i had sex on a friday and were supposed to start m period last monday what does that tell me?

Monday i was supposed to start my period. Didnt start. Fridayi had sex. I have symptoms of early pregnancy. Took a test saying i want. I havent started my period since. What do i do? Was it right to take a pregnancy test so soon?|||If you period was supposed to be last monday the 24th then if it said you were not pregnant today then I would say wait a couple more days then retake the test if AF does not arrive.
